The vets and the team at Ternwood

Two veterinarians, two technicians and a front desk that knows most patients by name.

Dr. Corinne Danforth, DVM

Owner and veterinarian, practicing since 2009

Dr. Corinne Danforth opened Ternwood Animal Clinic in 2011, after two years at a busy animal hospital where appointments never ran long enough. She built the clinic around longer exams.

She does most of the dental work and spends much of each week with senior pets, working out what keeps an older dog walking and an older cat eating.

At home she has two retired greyhounds and a cat who runs the house.

Dr. Silas Whitlock, DVM

Associate veterinarian, practicing since 2016

Dr. Silas Whitlock joined Ternwood in 2019. He sees many of the clinic's cats, and first puppy and kitten visits are his favorite: good questions, small patients.

His special interest is skin and ear trouble: the itchy dog that keeps coming back, the cat with scratched ears, and what sits behind them.

He lives in Eau Gallie with a rescue beagle mix.
